Registration Fees

Participants who register and pay before May 6, 2025, are eligible for the early-bird rate. Onsite registration is acceptable, but there is no early-bird discount. We would like to encourage you to become an SMBE member by clicking this link to get a favorable price.

The registration fees for different categories are listed below.

* Online attendance will be faciliated by the Zoom platform. However, please note that due to technical constraints, online participants will only have access to keynote and parallel symposia, and will not be able to join poster sessions and social events. To maximize participation and foster scientific communication, we encourage all attendees to join in person.

Notes

• Click here for more details about Low-Middle Income Countries (LMIC). Participants from Low-Middle Income Countries (LMIC) can register at a reduced rate. Proof that you are studying/working in a LMIC country is required and should be uploaded during registration. It can be a document (PDF format) or a photo (e.g., of your student or work ID card), and the file size should be less than 5MB.
• Registration fees cover all aspects of the conference, including access to all plenary talks and symposiums, access to all conference material including selected abstracts, lunch packs, coffee breaks and welcome cocktail.

Payment of Conference Fee

1. Credit Card

Payment for registration, including bank charges and processing fees, must be made in US Dollars. The conference fee must be paid in full in advance by credit card. Your registration can only be confirmed if the LOC records receipt of your full payment.

Visa, MasterCard, and JCB cards are accepted. It will be billed in US Dollars and exchanged to your local currency during your online payment authorization. Consequently, the amount charged to your account may vary due to the fluctuation in exchange rates.

Notes:

• All bank handling charge for remittance must be borne by the remitter.

• Only when your payment fee is received successfully, your payment status will be confirmed as 'Paid'. For international bank transfer, it may take 7-14 days.

Cancellation

If the registration is canceled, the full fee will be refunded if written notice is given to the LOC before April 20, 2025. Before June 20, 2025, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded. After June 20, 2025, no refund will be made. Please note that any bank charges or refund processing fees will be borne by the participant.

The Privacy Policy applies to all information that SMBE 2025 collects when you register for participation. The collected information is used for the conference organization ONLY.

To register for the conference, submit an abstract, and book a social event/workshop/hotel, you will need to register for an account by clicking on the button below. Both conference registration, abstract submission and social event/workshop/hotel reservation use the same portal and account. This will be a different account from your SMBE membership account.
